Sherry Roush

Sherry Roush is a Liberal Arts Professor of Italian in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at The Pennsylvania State University. She specializes in medieval/renaissance and early modern Italian literature and culture, with particular focus on the commentary tradition, philosophical poetry, and literary translation. Her work bridges textual analysis with historical context, examining how Renaissance writers used rhetorical devices like eidolopoeia to engage with political and cultural issues.
