Sherry Antonini

Sherry Antonini is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She holds a BA from Saint Mary's College and dual MFAs in Photography from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Writing from SAIC. Her artistic practice spans exhibitions at venues like Art Chicago and Meijer Gardens, performances at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Art Institute of Chicago, and musical performances at venues including The Metro and Double Door.

As co-founder of the Creative Push Collective, she facilitates interdisciplinary art collaborations. Her research explores creative writing methodologies, poetic forms, and interdisciplinary performance.

She teaches courses including:

• First-Year Seminars: 'Mystic, Poet, Sorceress, Nun' and 'What is a Poem?'
• Revision-focused writing workshops
• Interdisciplinary text-based art courses
