Sheonagh Rowley is a Lecturer at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, where she serves as Course Leader for the MSc Project Management program and Module Coordinator for Project Fundamentals. She holds an MSc in Project Management from RGU and is currently completing a part-time PhD (2014-2024) focused on project management competencies in higher education pedagogy.
Her research examines key competencies for successful project delivery and develops pedagogical frameworks for academic contexts. Primary interests include:
- Project management tool adaptation across industries
- Competency assessment in oil/gas sectors
- Cross-disciplinary application of project methodologies
Her publications analyze project management in creative industries (fashion) and competency frameworks for energy sectors, employing qualitative methods and industry case studies.
