Shelley Price

Dr. Shelley Price is Deputy Head of Psychology at the University of Chester's Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society. As a forensic psychologist, she researches offender assessment methodologies, treatment efficacy, and psychological factors in criminal behavior.

Her work examines cognitive assessment tools like the emotional Stroop task for measuring deviant interests in offender populations. Additional research explores technology's role in adolescent dating violence and community applications of psychology.

Dr. Price teaches research methods, cognitive psychology, and community psychology applications. She develops external partnerships to create student opportunities and address real-world problems through psychological research and outreach programs.
