Sheldon Joyner

Sheldon Joyner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Suffolk University since 2013. Prior positions include Postdoctoral Lecturer at Brandeis University (2011-2013) and Postdoctoral Fellow/Assistant Professor at The University of Western Ontario (2008-2011). He holds a PhD from Purdue University and advanced degrees from Stellenbosch University.

His research focuses on advanced mathematical structures in number theory and algebraic geometry, particularly zeta and L-functions, iterated integrals, and the interplay between polylogarithm functions and Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations. His work also explores Grothendieck-Teichmuller theory and its connections to monodromy representations.

Publications highlight trends in algebraic topology, number theory, and mathematical physics, with a focus on geometric and topological invariants derived from iterated integrals and monodromy theory. Key collaborations include work with Ajneet Dhillon on parabolic bundles.
