Sheldon Hewlett

Sheldon Hewlett is a Continuing Track Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Delaware. His roles include teaching, curriculum development for the undergraduate MSEG program, and student recruitment. He holds a B.S. from MIT, an M.S. from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in the Science of Advanced Materials from Central Michigan University. His doctoral research focused on solution-processed gold disordered metamaterials with high optical absorption.
