Sheikh K. Ghafoor is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Tennessee Technological University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Mississippi State University (2007) and previously worked as a Research Associate at the Engineering Research Center (ERC) at Mississippi State University. His research focuses on parallel/distributed computing, high-performance computing (HPC) systems, autonomic resource management, and computer science education.
Dr. Ghafoor has led grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Department of Energy (DOE). Recent student achievements include:
