Shawn McClean is an Assistant Professor and McCasland Foundation Professor of American Free Enterprise at the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business, within the Division of Management and International Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from Texas A&M University, alongside an MBA and BA in Business Administration from Washington State University. Prior to OU, he served as faculty at the University of Wyoming.

His research has appeared in top-tier journals like the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Harvard Business Review.
Teaching & Service: Teaches organizational behavior, human resources, and research methods. Serves as Ph.D. program coordinator for his division. His publications frequently bridge academic insights with practical managerial implications.
