Shawn Kasinger

Shawn Kasinger is Professor of Film and Television at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta, where he serves as Associate Chair. His professional background includes extensive industry experience as director for television series including 'Big Brother' and producer at Dogtag Entertainment.

He holds M.F.A. and B.A. degrees in Film and Television from Bond University. Professor Kasinger developed a 'story-centered' pedagogical approach implemented in film programs at SCAD, New York Film Academy, and Bond University, where he previously served as Senior Teaching Fellow and Chair of Filmmaking.

Creative works include documentary production ('The Road to Gulu'), television direction, and development of feature film projects. He maintains professional memberships in the Australian Director's Guild, Screen Producers Australia, and Australian Writer's Guild.
