Shauntel Adams

Shauntel Adams is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School of Social Work, The University of Texas at Arlington. She has been actively teaching since 2019, offering courses in field instruction, crisis intervention, and school social work.

Her educational background includes a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), both from New Mexico Highlands University.

Shauntel Adams specializes in clinical direct practice with a focus on at-risk youth, substance abuse, mental health, and crisis intervention. She also runs her private practice, Savvy Insights, PLLC, and has worked weekends at Texas Health Resources in psychiatric mental health. Additionally, she has experience in home-visiting programs, supporting families through case management and parenting education, particularly for teenage parents.
