Dr. Shauna Williams is a Teaching Professor of Spanish at the University of Notre Dame's Department of Romance Languages and Literatures. With administrative experience in undergraduate curriculum development and assessment, she teaches Spanish language and culture while researching faculty governance and learning outcomes evaluation. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Faculty Senate and chairs the Core Curriculum Committee's Languages subcommittee.
Her scholarly work examines hybrid learning models, study abroad programs, and mental health in academic settings. As a Qualified Administrator for the IDI intercultural competence assessment, she develops tools for evaluating global citizenship competencies in language education.
