Shaun Ryan

Shaun Ryan is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Arts & Humanities, Ulster University, based at the Magee Campus in Derry~Londonderry, United Kingdom. His research focuses on Material Science and Mechanical Engineering, particularly on polyethylene processing and mechanical properties.

His work investigates the impact of process and material parameters on the morphology and mechanical behavior of rotationally moulded polyethylene, as well as thermomechanical relaxations affecting impact strength. His publications from 1996 highlight key subfields such as material parameters, processing conditions, and density in polyethylene research.
