Shaul Magid is a Professor of Modern Jewish Studies in Residence at Harvard Divinity School (HDS), joining on July 1, 2025. He combines traditional Jewish learning with critical scholarship, spanning both academic and rabbinical contexts. Magid holds an MA in Jewish Thought from Hebrew University and a PhD in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University.
