Shaughnessy Flint

Shaughnessy Flint is an adjunct professor at Southwestern Law School, where he previously earned his J.D. (2020). He serves as in-house counsel for The Walt Disney Company, focusing on production legal advice, drafting below-the-line agreements for unscripted programming, and ensuring promotional assets comply with FTC/FCC regulations. Previously, he worked at NBCUniversal’s Universal Studio Group as Associate Counsel and Contracts Specialist for scripted/unscripted TV productions. He is a member of the California State Bar.

Education: B.A. in French and Linguistics (Boston College, 2014); J.D. (Southwestern Law School, 2020).

While at Southwestern, he held leadership roles including treasurer of the Black Law Students Association, co-president of the Entertainment Law Society, and Peer Mentor. He excelled in national competitions, winning top honors in negotiation competitions. Beyond law, he actively engages in dance and culinary exploration.

Professional accolades include recognition for his negotiation skills through competitive achievements in legal dispute resolution competitions.
