Sharon Levy

Sharon Levy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University, USA. Her research focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP) with an emphasis on Responsible AI, addressing fairness, safety, and trustworthiness in language systems. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2023), and conducted postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins University (2023-2024).

Education: PhD in Computer Science (UCSB, 2023), MS (UCSB, 2018), BS (UCSB, 2017). Professional experience includes roles at AWS, Facebook AI, Pinterest, and Akamai Technologies.
