Sharon E Plon

Sharon E Plon, M.D., Ph.D., is a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics. She holds additional roles as Co-Leader of the Pediatric Cancer Program at the Dan L. Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center and Director of the Cancer Genetics Clinical and Research Programs at Texas Children's Hospital. Her research focuses on cancer genetics and clinical genomics, particularly in understanding genetic susceptibility to pediatric cancers through collaborative projects like the NHGRI/NCI-funded Texas KidsCanSeq trial.
