Sharon Carr

Dr. Sharon Carr is a Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University, affiliated with the Ottawa-Carleton Geoscience Centre. She leads the Carr Lab, focusing on interdisciplinary tectonic research.

Her research interests include the tectonic evolution of orogenic belts, Cordilleran and Grenville tectonics, U-Pb geochronology, extensional fault systems, metamorphic core complexes, and granites/shear zones.
