Shanya Ruhela

Shanya Ruhela is a Researcher at TILT (Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society) within Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University. Her work focuses on commercial law, financial regulation, international commercial taxation, and international economic law, with contributions to UN Sustainable Development Goals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law (LL.M.) from Cambridge University (2016-2017).

• Authored doctoral research on multi-level banking regulation and edited books on regulatory strategies for sustainability

Her research bridges legal frameworks with socio-technical challenges, emphasizing resilience, transnational norms, and digital governance.
