Shantam Goyal

Shantam Goyal is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of Charleston. He holds a PhD in English from the University at Buffalo (2025), an M.Phil and M.A. in English from the University of Delhi, and a B.A. (Hons.) in English from the University of Delhi.

• Research Interests: Joyce Studies, Modernism, Sound Studies, Indian Cinema, Contemporary Irish Literature, Critical Phenomenology.
• Publications: Peer-reviewed articles in James Joyce Quarterly, Modernist Cultures, Contemporary Music Review, and others, focusing on auditory dimensions in modernist texts, cross-cultural media analysis, and critical pedagogy.
• Awards: Recognized for short fiction and academic contributions.
• Other Work: Translating Joyce's Ulysses into Hindi and developing a novel.
