Shannon Sliva is an Associate Professor at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work, specializing in restorative justice models that challenge conventional criminal legal systems. Funded by the National Institute of Justice, her research examines victim-offender dialogue impacts and state-level restorative legislation.
