Shandi Andres

Shandi Andres is an Instructor and FCCLA Advisor at Kansas State University's School of Human Sciences. She holds an M.S. in Family Studies and Human Services (2010) and a B.S. in Human Ecology (2006), both from K-State.

Her research and professional focus includes Family and Consumer Sciences education, curriculum development for secondary schools, and community outreach through 4-H and extension programs. She has extensive experience in rural community development and teacher training.

Shandi advises the Kansas FCCLA chapter and teaches courses like IHS 420 (Family and Consumer Science Methods) and IHS 425 (Practicum). She transitioned from classroom teaching to extension work before returning to campus.
