Dr. Shamel Addas is an Associate Professor and Distinguished Faculty Fellow of Digital Technology at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. His research focuses on the impact of information technologies (IT) on work and healthcare settings, particularly examining problematic IT use, human-AI interaction, and healthcare IT outcomes. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from McGill University, an MBA from Concordia University, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo.
