Dr. Shambhvi is a Research Fellow in Animal Science at Cornell University, affiliated with the McFadden Lab and the Accelerating Livestock Innovations for Sustainability (ALIS) project. Her research focuses on enhancing livestock nutrition to improve production efficiency while reducing methane emissions, particularly in smallholder dairy systems in India. She develops region-specific feed libraries and ration balancing tools to empower farmers, and investigates energy requirements and methane inventories for cattle and buffalo breeds.
