Sham Tickoo

Sham Tickoo is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Purdue University Northwest. His research focuses on wind turbine design and fabrication, and he developed the specialized software package "SMLayout" for sheet metal applications. Prof. Tickoo holds an M.S. in Industrial Technology from Northern Illinois University and an M.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from the University of Iowa.

Research Focus: His expertise includes CAD/CAM systems (SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/Engineer), product design specifications, and LISP programming. Before joining PNW in 1987, he worked as a design engineer and software developer.
