Shalini Ganguly

Shalini Ganguly is a Lecturer of Physics at St. Mary's College of Maryland. She holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (2022), an M.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (2017), and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Calcutta (2015). Prior to her current appointment, she worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of North Texas and the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

She specializes in using numerical simulations to study gas dynamics in astrophysical systems and is committed to involving undergraduate students in her research.
