Shahir Safi is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the New Economic School (NES) since 2023. He earned his PhD from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Barcelona School of Economics) in 2018, preceded by an MSc from the Toulouse School of Economics (2012) and a BSc with honors in Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Alberta (2007).
