Sevil Cetinkaya

Prof. Dr. Sevil Çetinkaya is a faculty member at Kırıkkale University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Chemistry. She earned her PhD from Hacettepe University and has held roles including Vice Head and Head of the Chemistry Department. Her research spans organometallic chemistry, nanomaterials, and lithium-ion battery electrolyte design.

Her work focuses on catalytic applications, solid-state materials, and energy storage technologies. Awards include L'Oréal-UNESCO Turkey Young Women in Science Support (2006) and Hacettepe University's Science Engineering Research Group Achievement Award (2007).

As a committee member for Kırıkkale University's Quality Commission (2016-2022) and Project Coordination Committee, she has shaped institutional research policy. Her laboratory investigates:
