Seung Hee Jeon is an Associate Professor of the Practice and Korean Coordinator at Boston College's Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Eastern, Slavic, and German Studies. She holds degrees from Seoul National University and Harvard University. Her research focuses on modern Korean and transnational literature, particularly war trauma, post-colonial narratives, and translation studies. She has translated works like Conscience in Action: The Autobiography of Kim Dae-jung and Time to Eat Lobster. Notable awards include a Fulbright Grant and Daesan Foundation Translation Grants.
Education: B.A., M.A., Ph.D. (Seoul National University); Ph.D. (Harvard University).
Her current book project explores the 'Comfort Women' System through artistic and fictional lenses. She previously taught at Seoul National University, Kyung Hee University, and Harvard.
