Seth Crider

Seth Crider is an Adjunct Professor at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D), where he teaches in the newly established Data Visualization Certificate program. He is also an alumnus of PCA&D, having earned a BFA in Fine Art in 2018, and holds an MS in Data Analytics and Visualization from Pratt Institute.

His academic and professional work lies at the intersection of art and data science, with a focus on visual storytelling, cartography, and creative coding. His background includes a year-long fellowship at the United Nations Global Pulse as a Data Visualization Assistant and research with the Museums and A.I. Network, shaping his interdisciplinary approach.

Seth currently serves as an E-Discovery Data Science Advisor at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in Manhattan. His personal studio practice explores the creative potential of mathematics, data, and code in visual art. He contributes to academic instruction through part-time teaching, mentoring the next generation of artist-analysts.
