Sergio Recalde Maestre

Sergio Recalde Maestre is a Spanish biochemist and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra. He works as a researcher at the Experimental Ophthalmology Laboratory within the University of Navarra Clinic in Pamplona. His research focuses on noninvasive molecular diagnostics, therapeutic biomarkers for retinal pathologies (including AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and venous occlusion), and gender-based predispositions to ocular diseases.
