Sergio Lopez Bernal

Sergio Lopez Bernal serves as a Researcher at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering within the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia.

He completed his Doctorate at the University of Murcia in 2022 with a thesis titled Cybersecurity on Brain-Computer Interfaces, supervised by Dr. Alberto Huertas Celdrán and Dr. Gregorio Martínez Pérez.

His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Brain-Computer Interfaces, Intelligent Systems, and Telematics, with emphasis on interdisciplinary applications in secure neural interface systems and intelligent networked technologies.

He has been affiliated with the Intelligent Systems and Telematics research group, contributing to collaborative projects in secure communication frameworks.
