Sergey Radchenko is a Professor of International Politics at Cardiff University and an affiliate of the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on Cold War history, Sino-Soviet relations, and geopolitical dynamics in Mongolia and Inner Asia. He is the author of two major monographs: Unwanted Visionaries: the Soviet Failure in Asia at the End of the Cold War (Oxford UP, 2014) and Two Suns in the Heavens: the Sino-Soviet Struggle for Supremacy, 1962-1967 (Stanford UP, 2009). His work examines historical narratives, international conflicts, and the interplay of regional identities in geopolitical contexts.
