Serge Pelet

Serge Pelet is a Research Professor at the University of Lausanne's Department of Fundamental Microbiology. Trained at EPFL in physical chemistry, he completed postdoctoral work at MIT developing fluorescence lifetime imaging techniques before joining ETH Zürich to study yeast signal transduction.

His research focuses on advanced microscopy methods for quantifying cellular information flow, particularly through Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) applications.

He leads a research team and oversees departmental microscopy facilities while contributing to biology practical instruction.
