Seonyoung Hwang is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the School of Business and Management, Royal Holloway, University of London (joined Nov 2023). She holds a PhD from Warwick Business School (2019) and conducted post-doctoral research at Aalto University School of Business (2020–2023). Her research focuses on work-life balance, social identity, diversity/inclusion, intersectionality, and occupational health. She teaches modules on Responsible Business, Diversity & Inclusion, and International HR Management, emphasizing practical application and student engagement.

Research Interests: Explores how social identities (gender, ethnicity, disability) intersect with work dynamics, particularly among marginalized groups. Current projects address meaningful work, motherhood, academic expatriates, and inclusion climate. Her work has been recognized via the RRBM Honor Roll and AOM’s Dorothy Harlow Award.
Teaching & Supervision: Teaches modules MN3915, MN2206, and MN3271. Supervises PhD students focusing on work-life interface, diversity, social identity, and occupational health. Dedicated to fostering inclusive educational environments.
