Selmin Cansu Demir

Selmin Cansu Demir serves as a Lecturer and Legal Clinic Coordinator at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law. She specializes in social responsibility initiatives, access to justice, and practice-based legal education models. Her work spans criminal law, family law, and human rights with a particular emphasis on women's and children's rights.

Her research focuses on juvenile criminal proceedings, gender equality, and criminal execution law. Demir has been Secretary General of the Children's Rights Center at Istanbul Bar Association since 2010 and volunteers extensively with NGOs focused on children's rights, women's rights, prisoners' rights, and labor rights.
