Selena B. Snowden

Selena B. Snowden is a Teaching Professor and Director of Audiology Services at Florida State University (FSU), affiliated with the School of Communication Science & Disorders. She holds a BA in Audiology and Speech Pathology from the University of Southern Mississippi (1995), an A in Audiology from the University of Tennessee (1998), and an AuD in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (2004).

Her research focuses on hearing loss perceptions, hearing conservation measures in children, and the social impacts of hearing loss. She has been at FSU since August 2004 and teaches courses like Introduction to Audiology. She directs Audiology Services, contributing to clinical and academic initiatives. Outside academia, she enjoys gardening, running, and teaching baton lessons.
