Selam Kidane

Selam Kidane is a Lecturer in Psychology at the School of Human and Social Sciences, University of West London. Prior to her academic career, she worked as a Systemic Psychotherapist with refugees, particularly focusing on unaccompanied children affected by war and displacement trauma.

Her research explores trauma, collective trauma, and refugee trajectories in the digital era, emphasizing ICT-based interventions and socioeconomic resilience. Key publications include studies on TRUST therapy, ICT-enabled trauma recovery, and gender-based violence among refugees.
