Sedat Özer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Özyeğin University's Faculty of Engineering. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University (2013), an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts (2007), and a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul University (2002).
Research Interests: Dr. Özer specializes in developing scalable and explainable machine learning algorithms, focusing on path planning for autonomous systems, video analysis, data fusion, and computer vision. His work has applications in intelligent and self-driving systems.
