Sebastien Floquet

Sebastien Floquet serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry within the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. His research is conducted through the MIM team (Molecules, Interactions, Materials) at the ILV (Institut Lavoisier de Versailles), a joint research unit supported by CNRS and UVSQ.

His research spans fundamental and applied Chemistry with emphasis on Materials Science and Physical Chemistry. The MIM team investigates molecular structures, chemical interactions, and material properties, focusing on experimental and theoretical approaches to molecular design. Current work centers on synthesizing novel compounds and analyzing their physicochemical behaviors within interdisciplinary frameworks.

Based in the Lavoisier Building at 45 Avenue des États-Unis (Versailles campus), Dr. Floquet maintains active laboratory operations under ILV's infrastructure. His work connects with broader university initiatives in sustainable chemistry and advanced materials development through CNRS-UVSQ collaborations.
