Sebastien Allard

Dr. Sebastien Allard is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the School of Engineering at The University of Western Australia (UWA) and a Senior Scientist at CSIRO Land and Water. His expertise spans water treatment, wastewater management, and sustainable resource recovery, with a focus on green energy and circular economy solutions. He leads high-performing teams to deliver outcomes for government, industry, and the public in Western Australia.

Research interests include drinking water treatment, wastewater reuse, advanced oxidation processes, disinfection by-product formation, and ammonia recovery from wastewater for green energy applications. He has authored 47 refereed publications, 43 conference proceedings, and 25 industry reports. Dr. Allard collaborates with international/national organizations and maintains expertise in safety, procurement, and data standards management. His current work emphasizes innovative processes for resource recovery and sustainable industrial practices.
