Dr. Sebastian Souyris is Assistant Professor of Supply Chain and Analytics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lally School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in information, risk, and operations management from The University of Texas at Austin (2019), M.Phil. in operations management from New York University, and bachelor's (industrial engineering) and master's (operations management) degrees from the University of Chile.
His research addresses environmental and human sustainability challenges through data-driven optimization, machine learning, and econometrics. He has developed analytic solutions for sustainability, healthcare, logistics, media, and sports domains. Current projects examine game development representation and historical simulation design.
