Sebastian Reimann

Sebastian Reimann is a Research Associate and PhD Student at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. He is affiliated with the Center for Religious Studies and the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1475 'Metaphors of Religion', where he leads the subproject 'Metaphor and social positioning in religious online forums'. His research focuses on analyzing religious discourse in digital spaces through metaphorical language.

Reimann is part of the CERES Early Career Researchers' Program and the Graduate School of Metaphor and Religion. He holds office at Universitätsstr. 90a, Room 2.07 in Bochum.

His work bridges Religious Studies, Linguistics, and Digital Humanities, examining how metaphorical expressions shape social identities in online religious communities.
