Sebastian Henke

Sebastian Henke, M.Sc., is a former Research Assistant at the Chair of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, part of the School of Business and Economics at the University of Münster. He collaborated under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Hellingrath, focusing on healthcare logistics, crisis management, and supply chain resilience. His work integrates information systems with real-world applications in hospital resource optimization and disaster response systems.

Henke was awarded the Best Student Research Paper (1st Prize) at the 2023 Global ISCRAM Conference for contributions to crisis response research. He contributed to teaching through courses like the project seminar Resilient Hospital Supply Chains, emphasizing practical applications of digitalization in healthcare logistics.

His research explores agent-based simulations for hospital resource management and collaborative tools for disaster evaluation. Supervised theses include studies on vendor-managed inventory (VMI) in hospitals and digitalization-driven resilience in internal supply chain processes.
