Sebastian Heath is a Clinical Associate Professor of Computational Humanities and Roman Archaeology at New York University's Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (ISAW). He holds additional roles including Director of Graduate Studies (AY2024-26), Chair of the PhD Admissions Committee, and editor of ISAW Papers. His expertise spans Roman archaeology, digital humanities, and numismatics, with a focus on computational methods applied to Mediterranean material culture.
He earned an A.B. in Medieval Studies from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Classical Art and Archaeology from the University of Michigan.
