Sebastian Eggert

Sebastian Eggert is Professor and head of the Theory of Condensed Matter and Many Body Systems group at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau's Department of Physics. His research explores fundamental phenomena in quantum systems including Floquet physics, ultra-cold gases, and quantum magnetism.

Research interests span condensed matter theory, quantum phase transitions, many-body physics in low-dimensional systems, and dynamics of quantum gases in optical lattices.

Recent publications focus on collective quantum phenomena in optical cavities, nonlinear effects in critical chains, and exotic magnetic states in spin systems. These works demonstrate theoretical advances in understanding quantum matter under complex conditions.
