Sebastian Dötterl is an Assistant Professor of Soil Resources at the Department of Environmental Systems Science, ETH Zurich, where he leads the Professorship for Soil Resources. His research bridges experimental soil science with model development to analyze carbon and nutrient dynamics across geoclimatic gradients, particularly in tropical African landscapes and Arctic ecosystems.
