Sebastian A. Paalo, Ph.D., is a full-time faculty member at the Department of History and Political Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He serves as Assistant Director for Research at the Institute for Research and Policy Integration in Africa (IRPIA) and as a Research Fellow at the Brew-Hammond Energy Centre, KNUST. Additionally, he partners with the National Peace Council of Ghana in the Ashanti region and co-founded Democracy Without Borders Ghana Chapter (DWB-Ghana).
- Research Focus: Governance, peace and security, and international relations in Africa.
- Projects: Funded by KNUST, International Peace Research Association Foundation, Chatham House, and Social Science Research Council (SSRC).
