Sean Nicholson

Sean Nicholson is a Professor at Cornell University, serving as Director of the Sloan Program in Health Administration and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His research focuses on medical technology valuation, pharmaceutical innovation, and regional healthcare spending disparities. Nicholson holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Prior to academia, he worked as a management consultant with APM and taught high school. His professional roles include Associate Editor of Health Economics and Research Director of the Upstate Health Research Network. His work has been published in prestigious journals like the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Health Economics.
