Sean Goldhar

Dr. Sean Goldhar is an Assistant Professor and Attending Physician in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Queen's University. He holds a medical degree from the University of Ottawa (2019), where he earned the University Silver Medal. After completing family medicine residency in 2021, he specialized in Care of the Elderly at Queen’s. Clinically, he works at Providence Care Hospital in outpatient geriatric clinics and inpatient rehabilitation services, focusing on preventive health and community programs for seniors.

His teaching roles include tutoring and lecturing in Queen’s undergraduate medical education (UGME) program, with a focus on small-group learning and supervising medical trainees in geriatrics rotations. Dr. Goldhar’s scholarly interests center on medical education reform, particularly as it intersects with family medicine and geriatrics. He actively contributes to curriculum development and clinical teaching initiatives.
