Sean Christensen, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine, serving as Director of Resident Education in Dermatologic Surgery and Director of Dermatologic Surgery at Yale Dermatology-Branford. His clinical practice focuses on skin cancer management, including Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstructive surgery, and field cancerization strategies. Research interests include molecular mechanisms of skin cancer development, UV-induced mutations, and optimizing preventive therapies. He leads a phase III clinical trial for a novel topical basal cell carcinoma treatment.
